Meet Tiffany Mitchell, owner of Baby Society Magazine and Las Vegas Kids’ Directory. Proud parent of a 25 year old daughter, Faith and 9 year old son, Jameson. We aren’t a big corporation with an army behind us, we are a family that built this after seeing a need in Las Vegas for families to connect and share tips and advice.
Baby Society Magazine (formerly Las Vegas Baby Magazine) is an online magazine geared towards local families with children ages newborn to 6 years. Magazines can be full of over filtered and coached “real life” stories that we tell ourselves, “that doesn’t really happen”! We want something we can read and know its the truth of parenting, the kind that will hit you in the “feels” and we can relate to with our own stories.
Filled with tips, activities and advice from professionals and parents, Baby Society Magazine has become a valuable local resource. Because of the growth of Las Vegas expanding to include more and more families, our goal is to provide a one-stop magazine. Las Vegas is not just a playground for adults! Along with the strip side attractions, we hope to share what local families have come to love about Las Vegas.
Meet Aisha Fanning, owner of Vegas Family Doulas. Aisha has been a Las Vegas resident since moving from the Mid-west in 2003. She is a mother of 4, and values the diversity of cultures in the Valley. Her favorite things to do with her family are watching movies at West Wind Las Vegas Drive-in, spending Summers splashing around at Cowabunga Bay Waterpark, and grabbing a meal and Pazookie at BJs Restaurant. Aisha is a local business owner, a community volunteer, and avid 90s music fan.
We are all about YOU! Vegas Family Doulas emerged based on the need for new family support in the Las Vegas Valley and the growing knowledge of how important support after birth is.
As mothers themselves, our doulas are no strangers to the needs of a post-birth woman. Trained and certified by ProDoula, we practice the highest standards of care imaginable. The services provided by our doulas are diverse in order to meet each family’s unique wants and needs.
With over 9 years of professional experience, the Vegas Family Doulas team has built their focus completely on improving the postpartum side of birth and all of the contributing components. VFD brings Las Vegas families the exceptional and professional postpartum support they seek out, they yearn for, and didn’t know they wanted.
